Knowledge Agency signs an agreement with ENAV, Italy, regarding installation, adaptation and training in “Service Validation Tool” – a tool which is used as support in the process of concept development, validation and verification as well as demonstration activities within a service-oriented environment. The tool has further been adapted to support application development and technical integration.

Axel Schuessler is assigned Business Manager and KA representative in Belgium and for Germany. Prioritized areas are the project support for NATO and EU projects and the support of any other project in Belgium and Germany. Axel served in the German Air Force for 34 years, ending up in the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. From 2002 until 2013 he was appointed to the German military delegation to NATO and the EU, as expert for communication and information systems (CIS) in NATO and the EU. During this time he worked as well as national technical expert in the NATO Communication and Information System Agency and as Chairman of the Project Team CIS and the project Team Network Enabled Capabilities (NEC) in the European Defence Agency (EDA). Axel possesses, besides his technical background as well an operational background in Air Defence and Air Traffic Control.

Knowledge Agency’s contract is extended and, through The Swedish Civil Aviation Administration (LFV), the company provides expertise support within fields such as Service Design, Validation, SWIM Demo coordination, SWIM Governance, Project Management, Service Requirement/Configuration and Integration of Service Design to the SESAR JU project (EU).
